​Doxycycline is an antibiotic commonly used for both the prevention and treatment of malaria, particularly in areas where resistance to other antimalarial drugs exists.​

• Administration Schedule:Begin 1 to 2 days before entering a malaria-endemic area.​
• Continue daily during the stay.
• Continue for 4 weeks after leaving the area.
• Instructions: Take the capsule with plenty of water and food at the same time each day. ​
