- Adults:Prevention: 1 tablet daily
- Treatment: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily (usually for 3–6 months), as advised
- Timing: Take ideally 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after, to maximise absorption—take with vitamin C or orange juice; on food if stomach upset occurs
- Do NOT take: With tea, coffee, milk, eggs, antacids, calcium, antibiotics (quinolones/tetracyclines), bisphosphonates, or thyroid meds—allow a 2‑hour interval before/after
