Aciclovir 5% Cream is an antiviral medication commonly used to treat cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. It is most effective when applied at the first sign of an outbreak, such as itching or tingling sensations, and can also aid in the healing process after a blister has formed.​

Usage Instructions:

• Apply the cream to the affected area five times a day at approximately four-hour intervals for at least four days.
• Start treatment at the first sign of a cold sore (such as tingling or itching).
• If your cold sore has not healed after ten days, stop using the cream and consult your doctor.
